Neurologist Needed in Springfield Massachusetts
Springfield Neurology Associates offers an exciting opportunity for a Neurologist to join our practice in Springfield, MA.
With a highly active group practice and clinical research opportunities, Springfield Neurology Associates is seeking either a general neurologist or a fellowship-trained neurologist to complement our team of specialists. Premier patient care and education, psychological testing, and phase III-IV neurology clinical trials are offered at our facility. Dermatologists Needed at the University of Connecticut
The Department of Dermatology at the University of Connecticut is continuing to grow and therefore is seeking additional dermatologists and a pediatric dermatologist to join our faculty.
The ideal candidate will serve as an educator to our dermatology residents and mentor to students, as well as excel in patient care. The successful candidate will serve on the faculty and practice clinical dermatology in a State-of-the-Art and new 25k square foot facility as well as many new satellite offices that will be opening soon. We have an active clinical trials section and active in patient service at John Dempsey Hospital and Hartford Hospital. Opportunities to pursue sub-specialties in dermatology and research as well as clinical trials are encouraged.
The Department of Dermatology, which currently has 21 full professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and researchers as well as two nurse practitioners and a physician assistant, is in the midst of a major expansion in its training programs and has recently relocated to a new and significantly larger location. The Department initiated a new dermatology residency program at UCONN on July 1, 2007 with plans to also develop a Melanoma Fellowship and a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship. This past year we have been approved for a Mohs fellowship and to expand our residency positions from six to nine residents. The dermatology residency program has training opportunities at John Dempsey Hospital, The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, the Hartford Hospital in patient service, and the Veteran’s Hospital in Newington, as well as the practice within the University Medical Group.

The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine is seeking qualified candidates to fill a full-time position within its faculty group practice at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank.
As a member of UCONN UMG Physicians, you will be expected to participate in the UConn MFM Associates Faculty Practice and also participate in academic training of medical students and housestaff. It is also desirable to have an interest in research.
The successful candidate will provide full-time, on-site perinatal services at UCONN’s John Dempsey Hospital and participate in the management of the Regional Perinatal Referral Network for high-risk maternal patients. Faculty also oversee a MFM fellowship program and are actively involved in both research and resident, fellow, and medical student education. The successful candidate must at minimum be an active candidate in OBGYN and MFM, preferably board certified in MFM.

Functional Neurosurgeon Needed at the University of Connecticut
The Division of Neurosurgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine is actively seeking a qualified Functional Neurosurgeon, at the Assistant Professor –in- Residence, to join the University’s faculty and become a member of a growing clinical practice based at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Connecticut.
The ideal candidate will have a specialty interest in establishing a Functional Neurosurgery program. Currently, a majority of the procedures performed annually by the practice are spine or related cranial procedures. We will welcome the Functional subspecialty interest and the opportunity to continue to develop that skill set. Candidates also should possess the leadership skills necessary to commence research activities and potentially establish a residency program in neurosurgery.
