Orthopaedic Surgeons Needed in Greater Philadelphia Area
The Lourdes Health System of Southern New Jersey, a 650 bed system, is pleased to announce our search for two orthopaedic surgeons to join our medical community.
With the pending retirement of two orthopaedic surgeons, the Lourdes Health System is seeking expertise in General Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement. Future plans include the addition of an existing ambulatory surgical center, hereby increasing operative capacity and a Musculoskeletal Center office in Cherry Hill that will be built out within the next 18 months. Eventually, the practice plan calls for four orthopaedic surgeons to be located in the Cherry Hill and Haddonfield locations with an additional four in Burlington.
The opportunity exists for academic involvement with orthopaedic resident rotation and teaching as our facility in Burlington works in conjunction with the Orthopaedic training program at UMDNJ. Lourdes has 50 primary care physicians in the Lourdes Medical Associates creating an immediate referral source for the incoming Orthopaedic Surgeon. Recently commencing practice, Dr. Sean McMillan started his Orthopaedic practice in Burlington and identified 30 operative cases within his first month of practice.
Lourdes shall tender a very competitive base salary with an RVU payor blind productivity bonus system. A comprehensive benefit package that includes all insurances and tax deferred compensation plans will also be offered to the successful candidate.
Lourdes offers block scheduling for the OR, administrative support for the practice, and an easy call schedule with no trauma call. Our ER physicians are able to care for most orthopaedic cases thereby greatly easing the call burden for our orthopaedic surgeons.
The Lourdes Health System is a regional referral center with Centers of Excellence in Bariatrics, Cardiac, Transplantation, Dialysis, Rehab, and Women and Children’s Health. We are hoping to expand our service line to include a Center for Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement. General Surgeon Needed at the University of Connecticut

We are seeking a candidate who desires an academic setting performing and teaching bread and butter surgery. Neurosurgeon Needed at the University of Connecticut
The Division of Neurosurgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine is actively seeking a qualified Neurosurgeon, at the Assistant Professor –in- Residence, to join the University’s faculty and become a member of a growing clinical practice based at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Connecticut.
The ideal candidate will have a specialty interest in spinal and cranial surgery. Currently, a majority of the procedures performed annually by the practice are spine or related cranial procedures. We will welcome all subspecialty interests and the opportunity to continue to develop that skill set. Candidates also should possess the leadership skills necessary to commence research activities and potentially establish a residency program in neurosurgery. Start up funds may be available for competitive research grant funding.

Gastroenterologist Needed in Westfield, Massachusetts

Cardiothoracic Surgeon Needed in Quincy Illinois
Blessing Hospital is pleased to announce its search for a second Cardiothoracic Surgeon. We are seeking a recently trained candidate with both Cardiothoracic and Endovascular skills who can compliment and expand upon the services provided by Jim Kase, M.D., who leads our cardiac surgery team of providers.
We have seven cardiologists in our medical community referring cases to our program. With the addition of outreach clinics in several communities, our program desires a second surgeon to help broaden our case pathology (including endovascular), assist with increases in volume, and dilute call coverage. Our two cardiac surgical suites are equipped for the special needs of open heart procedures.
