Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, the largest community hospital in the Western Massachusetts region is expanding our orthopaedic surgery service and searching for a board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon to deliver the finest quality orthopedic care to the patients it serves.

We are seeking general orthopaedics and any fellowship trained including:

• Joint replacement
• Hand
• Sports
• Foot and Ankle
• Shoulder

MMC is developing a Bone and Joint Center of Excellence featuring a multidisciplinary joint replacement program and needs a group of progressive orthopedic physicians willing to lead this initiative into the future.  In addition, the hospital wants to expand its Sports Medicine program and has several outpatient practice sites to foster this growth.  The orthopaedic surgeon who joins MMC will have direct input in reshaping our service. 

MMC is prepared to offer a generous guaranteed income and incentive plan to the successful applicant.  Our offer shall include a very comprehensive benefit program as well.  Mercy has recruited 3 orthopaedic surgeons in the community and our orthos are seeing as many as 70 patients daily.
